•I expect to be treated with respect, regardless of age, ability, gender, identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity or nationality.

•I expect to be tattooed in a hygienic environment by a contentious, knowledgeable, sober and licensed artist following local health codes.

•I expect to be tattooed with a new, sterile, single-use needles that are disposed of properly by an artist that practices cross contamination and disease prevention.

•I expect to be asked consent to be touched only in a way that is appropriate and necessary for the tattoo process.

•I expect to be given a private area if the removal of clothing is necessary to reveal only the area of the body that is being tattooed.

•I expect to have the right, if I ever feel uncomfortable or feel faint at any point, I have the right to stop the appointment during the process and reschedule/cancel.

•I expect to be asked consent to have my tattoo photographed and/or shared on social media for more private areas.

•I expect to be fully informed about proper aftercare, both verbally and in written form and have access to reach out for any questions at any time throughout the healing process. •I expect to be able to stop the tattoo to use the restroom or to drink/eat at any time during the appointment.
